The invention discloses a non-contact steel rail abrasion detecting device. The steel rail abrasion detecting device comprises four parts of a walking part, a detecting part, a data acquisition part and display equipment. The steel rail abrasion detecting device has the following advantages: the walking part is formed by adding eight small walking wheels based on traditional two longitudinal walking wheels, so that the condition of way falling of the device in the pushing process cannot be generated; a measurement device adopts a non-contact measurement mode, so that the abrasion measurement can be finished in the device pushing process, the efficiency is higher, and measurement points are successive; the mode is higher in precision and reliability; and the device is excellent in adaptability.
