The invention relates to a modular underwater robot. The modular underwater robot comprises a robot main body; an electronic cabin used for accommodating electronic equipment and a power cabin used for providing the modular underwater robot with energy are arranged in the robot main body; the outer wall of the robot main body is provided with a work module; the modular underwater robot is characterized in that the outer wall of the robot main body is provided with a rapid watertight connector used for connecting with an illumination module and a thruster module; the rapid watertight connector comprises a pedestal, a pressing block, a deflector rod, and an O-shaped ring; the pedestal is fixedly connected with the robot main body; the middle part of the pedestal is provided with a first through hole which is connected with the robot main body and is used for passing of wire cables; the inner wall of the pedestal is provided with a sliding groove used for sliding of the pressing block; one side of the pedestal is provided with a connecting column; the connecting column is sleeved by the deflector rod, and the deflector rod is capable of realizing axial rotation along the connecting column; the middle part of the pressing block is provided with a second through hole corresponding to the pedestal; and the O-shaped ring is arranged in the first through hole.
