The invention discloses a novel vehicle-mounted safe driving assistance system and relates to the field of driving safety. The novel vehicle-mounted safe driving assistance system comprises the following sections including a driving environment detecting section, a picture processing section and a judgment prompting section. The system uses a visible light camera in a driving environment detecting device to simulate the eyes of a driver to observe the driving environment, thermal imager detecting images are used for being compared with visible light camera images, and through processing of the thermal imager detecting images and the visible light camera images, the conditions which the processing results belong to are judged to give a prompt. The first condition, when the detecting results of the visible light camera and the thermal imager are the same, the prompt is not given; the second condition, when the thermal imager detects that objects obstructing a vehicle to move exist on a road and the visible light camera does not detect the objects, the prompt is given. The novel vehicle-mounted safe driving assistance system can assist the driver to conduct driving environment judgement in bad driving environment, and certain guarantee is provided for the driving safety of driving personnel.
