The invention discloses novel wearable blind guiding equipment and a working method thereof. The novel wearable blind guiding equipment is combined with tactile sticks for use and is used for assisting the blind to go out safely. The blind guiding equipment can automatically monitor the using environment, prompt users to switch working modes and provide corresponding guiding messages. The system closes a redundancy function module according to the working modes automatically, energy consumption is lowered, and the working time of the equipment is prolonged. Contact combinations are used for expressing complex blind guiding signals, and thus the privacy is better. The novel wearable blind guiding equipment includes but is not limited to a CPU, an input module, a speech recognition module, an image processing module, an output module, a communication module, a power module and a function device integration carrier. The working modes of the blind guiding equipment include but are not limited to the sidewalk mode, the traffic light intersection mode and the free mode. The sidewalk mode guides the blind to evade front obstacles in a ranging manner, the traffic light intersection mode acquires traffic light information in an image processing manner and guides the blind to achieve safety passage, and the free mode judges the condition of the surrounding environment by comprehensively utilizing the ranging information and the image processing information and guides the blind to move forward safely.
