The invention relates to a power transmission device for glass steel fishing boats, particularly to a glass steel ship stern shaft device. The glass steel ship stern shaft device comprises an A-shaped bracket, a stern shaft and a propeller, wherein the stern shaft is fixed in the A-shaped bracket through a bearing; one end of the stern shaft is connected with an output shaft of an internal combustion engine and the other end of the stern shaft is connected with the propeller. The glass steel ship stern shaft device is characterized in that the stern shaft between the A-shaped bracket and the propeller is covered with a protection sleeve; one side of the protection sleeve is connected with the A-shaped bracket through a flange, and at least two symmetrical protruding blades are arranged on the other side of the protection sleeve. According to the invention, during the rotation of the stern shaft, the cooling of the bearing is fulfilled by stern shaft holes and water flowing holes; the glass steel ship stern shaft device has the advantages of simple structure and convenience in mounting and can protect the stern shaft against winding of ropes, fishing nets or seaweed.
