The invention provides a rail engineering vehicle. The rail engineering vehicle comprises a vehicle body and a bogie, wherein the bogie comprises a swing bolster and a bogie body, pin shafts are arranged at the middle part of the swing bolster and are rotatably connected onto the bogie body, and side bearings are respectively arranged between the two end parts of the swing bolster and the bogie body. The rail engineering vehicle further comprises a locking mechanism, wherein the locking mechanism comprises vertical cylinders and transverse cylinders, the vertical cylinders are fixedly arranged on the vehicle body, the transverse cylinders are fixedly arranged on the swing bolster, vertical stopping seats and a transverse stopping seat are arranged on the vehicle body, vertical stops are arranged on the swing bolster, through holes are formed in the vertical stopping seats, the vertical stops are inserted in the through holes, the free end parts of the vertical stops are provided with retaining rings, and the diameter of the retaining rings is greater than that of the through holes; transverse stops are arranged on piston rods of the transverse cylinders, and the transverse stopping seat is located at one side of each transverse stop. The rail engineering vehicle has the advantages that the reliability of locking is improved, and the requirements of the rail engineering vehicle on low-speed running are met.
