The invention discloses a two-way wind resistance braking device for a high-speed motor train unit. The two-way wind resistance braking device comprises a wind resistance braking plate, a first supporting seat which is hinged to one end of the wind resistance braking plate through a bearing, a second supporting seat which is hinged to the other end of the wind resistance braking plate through another bearing, bearings which are hinged to the other end of each of the first supporting seat and the second supporting seat, and plate frames which are matched with another bearing, wherein the plate frame is externally or internally mounted on the top of the high-speed motor train unit or/and on the two sides of the high-speed motor train unit; the first supporting seat and the second supporting seat are telescopic mechanisms. The two-way wind resistance braking device for the high-speed motor train unit disclosed by the invention breaks through the traditional thinking; the wind resistance braking device which is suitable for two-way driving is creatively designed from a one-way driving brake; the two-way wind resistance braking device does not rely on a wheel-rail adhesion coefficient; when the operating speed is higher, the braking power which can be provided is higher; when the high-speed motor train unit brakes emergently, an effective auxiliary braking mode can be provided; the two-way wind resistance braking device can also serve as a standby braking mode when the high-speed motor train unit brakes commonly.
