The invention discloses a system and method for acquiring various kinds of traffic information based on man-machine interaction. The system for acquiring various kinds of traffic information based on man-machine interaction comprises a plurality of intelligent terminals and a traffic information center, wherein a communication module, a positioning module, an acquisition switch, an option switch and acquisition software are arranged in each intelligent terminal. A user presses the acquisition switches, so that the acquisition function is achieved; the option switches are operated by the user according to the traffic condition on a site, so that an image containing classification information from one grade to ten grade gradually is displayed on a screen; after acquisition is confirmed, site data of traffic information are sent to the traffic information center. Traffic information is formed through a computer server in the traffic information center according to the received site data and data in a reference database by referring to site data of other users around the user. The system and method are suitable for drivers and are used for acquiring various kinds of traffic information. By the adoption of the system and method, accidents can be handled with rapidly, wide-range road congestion is avoided, and various traffic information services are provided by the traffic information center.
