THE C.A.N.T. Z-506, constructed by the Cantieri Riuniti Dell'Adriatico of Monfalcone, is the newest commercial type to be placed in service on the over-water routes of the well-known Italian Air Line, Ala Littoria. A high-performance, three-cngined, low-wing, twin-float seaplane, it carries twelve passengers and a crew of four in normal service, and has a range of 1,300 kilometres (800 miles) at cruising speed of 320 k.p.h. (200 m.p.h.).
