Stabilization of unmanned bicycle, typical inherently unstable system, is reported; gyroscope and pendulum were used as power element and sensing device, respectively; first, mathematical model of bicycle was derived from analysis of bicycle dynamics; system parameters were obtained by experimental testings; then, choice of control components was made; finally, electronic network was designed to stabilize overall system.
