Problems are considered as that part of flight which usually determines payload to be carried and therefore economics of flight; it is airline pilot's view that any research which may be done to solve problems of takeoff and landing will be of little value until known deficiencies in margins, which result in overloading at takeoff and landing, are remedied; recommendations made.
