Fifteen typical United States civil airports are examined in course of Federal Aviation Administration sponsored program to determine their suitability for operation of delta-wing commercial supersonic transport; aircraft is shown to be generally compatible in each area with only minor developmental type changes being required in fixed facilities at airport; noise was found to be subject of most concern to airport authorities.
