Three vessels, "Bahia Aquirre", "Bahia Buen Suceso" and "Bahia Thetis", built at Halifax Shipyards, Ltd, Halifax, N.S., to design of Milne, Gilmore and German, Montreal; particular reference made to Bahia Aquirre; length oa 336 ft; breadth molded 47 ft; depth molded to upper deck 26 ft; loaded draft, summer freeboard 18 ft 6 in.; propelled by two 1875 bhp Nordberg 2-stroke 5-cyl trunk piston type engines.
