Analytical treatment of effects of transverse inclination of airplane in turn on indication of directional gyro; it is found that extreme inclinations, which airplane must necessarily assume for correct turn in approaches executed at high speed and small radius of curvature, renders indications of instrument worthless during such maneuvers.
