By adoption of new track design in which bent steel ties are imbedded in monolithic pre-mixed concrete, delivered by truck and thoroughly tamped and vibrated by special powerdriven apparatus, Capital Traction Co., Washington, D. C., has found it possible to lay track faster and more economically than in past.
