Investigations of possibility of utilizing whole of power obtained from low-pressure turbine without disadvantage of coupling reciprocator and turbine; results of model tests with specially designed 3-bladed auxiliary propeller; 25% efficiency increase can be obtained from reciprocating engine by addition of exhaust turbine, and auxiliary propeller drive seems to be logical method of utilizing this power.
