Long time tests on smaller scale with system of fastening which utilizes rubber and rubber bonded cork, and with individual parts, resulted in completion of railroad viaduct in Delft, Netherlands having length of 800 m, on which two tracks have been laid without ballast and with application of new materials and techniques; construction method applied appears particularly suitable for tracks on structures for underground and suburban services.
