Photographic method for initiating closely coordinated aerial and ground camera system; aerial photographic reconnaissance, using Maurer 70-mm aerial camera mounted on helicopter, provides individual vehicle and overall stream-movement data, including vehicle speed, acceleration, following distance and trajectory of vehicle as it passes through study area; aerial-camera system fixes 70-mm camera in special vertical mount along with closed-circuit television camera on side of helicopter; TV system, which projects view identical to that of film camera to monitor on pilot's instrument panel, is used as viewfinder.
