There are about 1500 cells of battery in each vehicle of the high speed maglev train. The states of so many cells need to be monitored in real-time. This paper introduces one kind of charging and discharging management method used on the high speed maglev train. Several power supply devices charge the battery in tandem, according to the state of the battery. The charging current of each device must be controlled. The voltage, current, and temperature of the battery are supervised at the same time. By this charging and discharging management method, it can ensure the reliability and safety of the battery.
