This paper presents a kind of contactless power supply method which can be used on high speed maglev train. By this method, the train can achievecontactless inductive power while running above a certain speed by electromagnetic induction, through the induction coilsmounted on the vehicle and stators mounted on the track. There are also several groups of batteriesinstalled on each vehicle and power supply pointsarranged along the track. With the onboard induction coils and batteries, the maglev train can run at all speed ranges withoutany contact to the ground power supply.Italso sets several independent and redundancy power netsin one vehicle to promote the reliability of the vehicle power supply.It can satisfy the requirements of high reliability and safety of the high speed maglev train.
