This paper studies the use of resistive RAM (ReRAM) devices in crossbar arrays for intrinsically secure self-encrypted memory. A security analysis is used to demonstrate the feasibility of realizing intrinsically secure memory using experimentally available ReRAM devices. It is shown that ReRAM is a good candidate for this application due to its nature, which allows forward and reverse operations for securely storing and retrieving data.
