To precisely stop obstacle detection without causing prolongation of a detection exclusion time like a timer system and without requiring additional equipment such as a train detection system.SOLUTION: In a railroad crossing obstacle detection system 1, a central device 10 repeatedly calculates a scheduled alarm start time of railroad crossing safety equipment 5 and a scheduled detection stop time of a railroad crossing obstacle detection device 30 to notify a railroad crossing control device 20 of them on the basis of the acquired latest on-rail position of a train 9, and notifies the railroad crossing control device 20 of train passage in the case of determining that the train 9 passes through a railroad crossing 3. The railroad crossing control device 20 updates and stores the repeatedly notified scheduled alarm start time and scheduled detection stop time, makes the railroad crossing safety equipment 5 start an alarm when the stored latest scheduled alarm start time has come, ends the alarm according to the reception of notification of train passage, makes the railroad crossing obstacle detection device 30 start obstacle detection when the stored latest scheduled alarm start time has come, and makes the same stop the obstacle detection according to the arrival of the stored latest scheduled detection stop time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】タイマー方式のような検知除外時間の長期化が生じることがなく、列車検知方式のような付随設備を必要とすることもない、障害物検知の的確な停止を実現すること。【解決手段】踏切障害物検知システム1において、中央装置10は、取得した最新の列車9の在線位置に基づいて、踏切保安設備5の警報開始予定時刻および踏切障害物検知装置30の検知停止予定時刻を繰り返し算出して踏切制御装置20に通知し、踏切3を列車9が通過したと判定した場合に列車通過を踏切制御装置20へ通知する。踏切制御装置20は、繰り返し通知される警報開始予定時刻および検知停止予定時刻を更新記憶し、記憶された最新の警報開始予定時刻が到来した場合に踏切保安設備5に警報を開始させ、列車通過の通知の受信に応じて警報を終了させ、記憶された最新の警報開始予定時刻が到来した場合に踏切障害物検知装置30に障害物検知を開始させ、記憶された最新の検知停止予定時刻の到来に応じて障害物検知を停止させる。【選択図】図1
