To provide a fuel battery system and a power generation system of fuel battery in which the entire fuel battery system including auxiliary equipment can continue power generation at the maximum efficiency current, following the efficiency that fluctuates depending on the situation while a vehicle is in operation.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system 1 includes: a fuel battery 2 that receives supply of oxidant gas and fuel gas, and generates electricity through an electrochemical reaction; auxiliary equipment 20 related to the operation of the fuel battery 2; and a control device 5 that controls the power generation of the fuel battery 2. The control device 5 monitors efficiency of the fuel battery 2 during the power generation of the fuel battery 2, and changes a generated current of the fuel battery 2 to a highest efficiency current with highest efficiency when a change in efficiency of the fuel battery 2 is detected, and continues the power generation of the fuel battery 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
