To prevent safety from being impaired even in a case where a driver gives up traveling because of thick fog regarding an automatic driving mode.SOLUTION: A vehicular control device comprises: an information acquisition part 3 for acquiring information of an area in which traveling is difficult under an automatic driving mode; a traveling state presentation part 4 for presenting an alert calling relating to the area in which the traveling is difficult or an alert calling switching to a manual driving mode to a driver in a case where the area in which the traveling is difficult under the automatic driving mode, is detected on a travel route; a vehicle stoppable location detection part 5 for detecting a rest place where a vehicle can be parked, before the area; a steerable state discrimination part 6 for discriminating whether the driver can drive under the manual driving mode; and a travel mode switching part 7. In a case where traveling under the automatic driving mode is continued and the discrimination that the driver can drive under the manual driving mode is not obtained even after the alert is presented and even if the vehicle is closer to the stoppable rest place, the travel mode switching part 7 instructs the traveling under the automatic driving mode to the rest place and stopping therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】自動運転モードに関して、濃霧等により走行を断念する場合にあっても、安全を損なわないようにする。【解決手段】自動運転モードによっては走行困難なエリアの情報を取得する情報取得部3と、走行ルート上において自動運転モードによっては走行困難なエリアが検出されると、ドライバーに、走行困難なエリアに係る警告及び又は手動運転モードへの切替えを促す警告を提示する走行状態提示部4と、当該エリアまでの間で、停車可能な休憩場所を検出する車両停車可能位置検出部5と、ドライバーが手動運転モードにより運転可能かを判定する操舵可能状態判定部6と、走行モード切替部7とを備える。走行モード切替部7は、警告を提示して、停車可能な休憩場所に接近しても、自動運転モードで走行し、かつ手動運転モードにより運転可能との判定が得られない場合、休憩場所への自動運転モードによる走行及び停車を指示する。【選択図】図1
