PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve riding comfort of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An attenuation force control device of a suspension according to one embodiment, for instance, which controls a damper which can change attenuation force according to a command signal, comprises: an estimation portion that estimates relative speed of a wheel to a vehicle body; an attenuation force calculation portion that calculates target attenuation force indicating attenuation force that the damper should output, on the basis of the relative speed and acceleration information from an acceleration sensor provided in the vehicle body; an output portion that outputs to the damper a command signal corresponding to the target attenuation force; an attenuation force estimation portion that calculates estimated attenuation force indicating an estimated value of the attenuation force to be outputted from the damper, on the basis of the relative speed and a command signal corresponding to the target attenuation force; and a friction force calculation portion that calculates friction force to be generated in the damper, on the basis of the relative speed.
