The invention relates to a device for the roll stabilization of a motor vehicle, said device comprising: at least one roll stabilizer, which comprises two stabilizer parts connected to each other for twisting relative to each other about a stabilizer longitudinal axis and an actuator for the relative twisting of the two stabilizer parts; at least one stabilizer sensor for directly and/or indirectly determining an actual stabilizer torque (4) present at the roll stabilizer; at least one driving dynamics sensor for determining a driving dynamics parameter of the motor vehicle; a height sensor provided for a left wheel of the motor vehicle and a height sensor providing for a right wheel of the motor vehicle for directly and/or indirectly determining a wheel height (6, 7) of the wheel in question relative to a vehicle body of the motor vehicle; and a control unit for controlling the actuator, by means of which control unit a target stabilizer torque (3) can be determined on the basis of the at least one driving dynamics parameter and an actuator control signal (9) can be determined by taking into consideration the target stabilizer torque and the two wheel heights. According to the invention, the control unit comprises a roll control system (1) for roll stabilization and a feed-forward control system (2) for compensating vertical wheel motion caused by road unevenness.
