The invention discloses an intelligent robot taking elevator system which comprises an elevator shaft and an elevator car, the elevator car is arranged in the elevator shaft, and the elevator car reciprocates in the elevator shaft; the distance measuring plate is arranged at the top of the elevator shaft and is used for measuring the distance between the elevator car and the top of the elevator shaft and monitoring the fact position of the elevator car; the elevator calling plate is arranged on the elevator car, and the distance measuring plate is in communication connection with the elevator calling plate; the signal plate is arranged on the robot, the signal plate is in communication connection with the landing calling plate, and the signal plate is used for sending an instruction to the landing calling plate. Different from the prior art, according to the technical scheme, through the arrangement of the distance measuring plate, the distance measuring plate can measure the distance between the elevator car and the top of the elevator shaft in real time so as to determine whether the elevator car is located on the floor where the robot is located or not, and then the elevator calling efficiency is improved.
