The invention relates to a wall-climbing robot for a smooth wall surface. The wall-climbing robot comprises a robot body, a water conveying mechanism and four foot movement mechanisms, the foot movement mechanism comprises a rotating arm mechanism and a foot sole mechanism, the rotating arm mechanism comprises a first steering engine, a rotating seat, a second steering engine, a driving swing arm and a driven swing arm, the foot sole mechanism comprises a foot sole connecting part, a wet adhesion foot sole and a friction foot sole, the first steering engine is installed on the machine body, and the output of the first steering engine is connected with the rotating seat; the second steering engine is installed on the rotating seat, the output of the second steering engine is connected with the sole connecting part through the driving swing arm, the rotating seat is further connected with the sole connecting part through the driven swing arm, the lower portion of the sole connecting part is connected with the wet adhesion sole, the bottom of the wet adhesion sole is connected with the water conveying port, and the friction sole is arranged on the outer side of the wet adhesion sole; the water delivery mechanism comprises two water delivery bags and an extrusion mechanism, each water delivery bag is communicated with the water delivery port in the obliquely opposite wet adhesion sole through a water delivery pipe, and the extrusion mechanism alternately extrudes the two water delivery bags. The wall-climbing robot is simple in structure, light in weight, reliable in adhesion and good in wall-climbing effect.
