The invention relates to the technical field of mobile robots, and particularly discloses a wheel-foot type composite substation inspection robot system which comprises a front body, a trunk support and a rear body. The front body fuselage and the rear body fuselage are fixed to the two ends of the trunk support respectively, and the front body fuselage and the rear body fuselage are the same in structure; the front machine body comprises a supporting steel frame, a modularized machine body left leg, a modularized machine body right leg, a modularized machine body left leg driving module and a modularized machine body right leg driving module; the modular fuselage left leg and the modular fuselage right leg are fixed to the two sides of the support respectively. The modular fuselage left leg driving module is arranged in the supporting steel frame so as to control the motion of the modular fuselage left leg; and the modularized fuselage right leg driving module is fixed in the supporting steel frame so as to control the movement of the modularized fuselage right leg. According to the robot, the technical advantages of a wheeled robot and a foot type robot are integrated, and the robot has movement rapidness and high environmental adaptability.
