The storage table is mounted on the walking mechanism and is used for placing a storage box; the lifting arm is installed on the walking mechanism, and the lifting arm is assembled to at least move relative to the walking mechanism in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction so as to drive the storage box to be transferred between the storage table and the ground; and the pressing mechanism is installed on the lifting arm, and the pressing mechanism is assembled in the mode that when the weight of the storage box is loaded on the lifting arm, the pressing mechanism can press an upper cover of the storage box. According to the transfer robot, the pressing mechanism is arranged on the lifting arm, it can be guaranteed that materials cannot be accidentally opened in the transfer process, meanwhile, the materials can be prevented from falling off from the transfer robot, and the safety and reliability of the transfer robot are improved.
