The invention discloses an underwater robot and a control method thereof.The underwater robot comprises a robot body, a sewage suction opening is formed in the bottom of the robot body, and a first drainage opening communicating with the sewage suction opening is formed in the top of the robot body; the bottom of the robot body is further provided with a second water outlet communicating with the first water outlet, and the second water outlet is located in the side, close to the front end, of the dirt suction opening. The water pumping mechanism is arranged in the robot main body and is close to the first water outlet; the water pumping mechanism has a first state for controlling water flow to flow in from the sewage suction port and to be discharged through the first water discharge port and a second state for controlling water flow to flow in from the first water discharge port and to be discharged through the second water discharge port; the front end of the robot body can be lifted by a preset angle by discharging water flow through the second water outlet. The invention aims to improve the obstacle crossing ability of the underwater robot.

    本发明公开一种水下机器人其控制方法,该水下机器人包括机器人主体,所述机器人主体的底部设有吸污口,所述机器人主体的顶部设有与所述吸污口连通的第一排水口,所述机器人主体的底部还设有与所述第一排水口连通的第二排水口,所述第二排水口位于所述吸污口靠近前端的一侧;抽水机构设于所述机器人主体内,并靠近所述第一排水口设置;所述抽水机构具有控制水流从所述吸污口流入并经由所述第一排水口排出的第一状态和控制水流从所述第一排水口流入并经由所述第二排水口排出的第二状态,在所述第二状态下,经由所述第二排水口排出水流能使所述机器人主体的前端抬升预设角度。本发明旨在提升水下机器人的越障能力。
