A transport vehicle (V) is provided with a vehicle body (Va) disposed between a first rail (R1) and a second rail (R2) in the vertical direction, a first travel unit (U1) that causes the vehicle body (Va) to travel in a first direction (X), and a second travel unit (U2) that causes the vehicle body (Va) to travel in a second direction (Y).
