A pole-climbing robot belongs to the technical field of power system robots and comprises an upper clamping mechanism, a lower clamping mechanism and telescopic devices, the upper clamping mechanism is connected with the lower clamping mechanism through the telescopic devices, and the upper clamping mechanism and the lower clamping mechanism are both provided with the telescopic mechanisms. When the push rod of the air cylinder stretches out and draws back, the piston is driven to move upwards or downwards in the sealing cylinder, so that fluid in the upper sealing cavity is discharged into the telescopic mechanism of the upper clamping mechanism or fluid in the lower sealing cavity is discharged into the telescopic mechanism of the lower clamping mechanism, and opening and closing of the upper clamping mechanism or the lower clamping mechanism are achieved. The pole climbing action is achieved through mutual cooperation of the upper clamping mechanism, the lower clamping mechanism and the telescopic device, manual pole climbing is replaced, and safety is improved; according to the pole-climbing robot, the distance between the upper clamping mechanism and the lower clamping mechanism is adjusted through the air cylinder, opening and closing of the upper clamping mechanism and the lower clamping mechanism are achieved through the air cylinder, the pole-climbing action can be achieved only through one power source, and the cost of the pole-climbing robot is saved.
