The pole-climbing robot is reasonable in structural design, easy to operate, easy to carry and capable of replacing a climber or a high-altitude vehicle and comprises a chassis arranged on an electric pole in a sleeving mode and used for climbing the electric pole, the chassis is provided with a workbench for a worker to stand, and the chassis comprises a U-shaped chassis provided with an avoiding opening for the electric pole to be clamped in. A sealing rod used for sealing the electric pole in the U-shaped chassis is arranged on the U-shaped chassis, and a crawling device used for driving the chassis to crawl and rise on the electric pole is arranged between the sealing rod and the U-shaped chassis.
