The invention discloses a wave glider which comprises a ship body, an umbilical cable, an underwater driving mechanism and a detector throwing mechanism. The detector throwing mechanism is arranged on the ship body, and the underwater driving mechanism is connected with the ship body through an umbilical cable; a cavity is formed in the detector putting mechanism, and the detector is arranged in the cavity and connected with the controller through a connecting line; the umbilical cable transmits thrust generated by the underwater driving mechanism to the ship body to drive the wave glider to sail; a controller is arranged in the ship body and controls the detector putting mechanism to put the detector and collect and process ocean information. According to the technical scheme, the detector putting mechanism is carried through the wave glider, the detector putting mechanism enables a plurality of probes to be put in one putting process, the putting process is simplified, the putting efficiency is improved, manual putting by personnel is not needed, the putting cost is reduced, and the putting success rate is improved.
