The invention discloses a swing angle measurement method based on the Hall effect for a dual-sling bridge crane. The method comprises the following steps: initially setting a swing angle measuring device; when a trolley mechanism of the dual-sling bridge crane receives an operation command, the bridge crane starts to work, slings drive lifting ropes to move, the lifting ropes swing to drive a light-weight swinging rack of each measurement unit to swing so as to drive a Hall sensor to rotate, and the Hall sensor rotates to generate a Hall electric potential signal at the corresponding angle; a signal processing module receives and processes the Hall electric potential signal sent by a corresponding signal acquisition module and transmits the processing result to a data computing and processing module; the data computing and processing module calculates the corresponding swing angle information according to the Hall electric potential signal. The invention also discloses a swing angle measurement device based on the Hall effect for the dual-sling bridge crane. The swing angle measurement device is simple in structure, low in cost, convenient to maintain and strong in anti-interference ability.
