Coach built by Armstrong-Whitworth for L.N.E.R., equipped with 250-hp engine, of standard Armstrong-Sulzer locomotive type, having 6 cylinders; electric transmission consists of d-c generator, driven by engine, and supplying current to two truck traction motors geared to axles of one.
