In order to solve the problem of hydrodynamic parameters of underwater vehicle are unknown and the actual measurement is difficult, a numerical method based on mesh is presented. The underwater vehicle model is established, vehicle surface and flow field is meshed. The method of calculating numerical water power coefficient is studied by numerical experiment in direct navigation. Compared with the parameters obtained in the constraint model test of vehicle, the results showed that the calculation method is accurate, convenient and effective.
