This paper studies the parameters optimization of the hot forming panels based on the crashworthiness and lightweight. Combined with hot forming technology, it takes the key structural parameters as the design variables, the positive / bias crashworthiness as the constraint condition, the lightweight body as the design objective, studies the vehicle frontal crash safety. According to the final optimized design, a real car crash tests had been completed and the excellent results shown that the parametric method based on the vehicle crashworthiness is an important guarantee methods to achieve the body structure optimized design.
