Recently, in the CFD field, computation time has been decreasing because of advances in computer technology, but grid generation time has not improved, because it has many human-making processes. In this paper, an automatic grid generation system that uses 'replay function' (recording operation history of similar shape automobile) has been established. This automatic grid generation system considerably reduces grid generation time, and enables CAD data direct interfacing, which corrects wrong CAD data parts automatically.
