Some important properties which are derived from kinematical modeling for suspension were summarized in this paper. They are calculated by constraint conditions for suspension linkages configurations and vertical position of axle and steering rack displacement are used as inputs for them. Once the Jacobian matrix are obtained from constraint conditions by symbolical manipulation, commonly used numerical algorithms are applicable for them. Therefore, this procedure is easily connected to ODE-based vehicle simulation. Other important properties such as compliance found by elastokinematical and dynamical effect on suspension linkages should be found with Multi-body dynamics applications, since sprung and unsprung mass treatment in ODE-based vehicle model on small computers would not appropriate for them.
