In this paper an intelligent microprocessor-controlled microwave vehicle identification and control system will be presented. The system is capable of passing fluently variable codes and information up to 80 byte length. The code-transeiver operating in X-band, because of its relatively small transmission distance (20 m), is able to distinguishiably build-up microwave connection between a fixed transmission point and the pass-by-vehicle. The top speed of the moving vehicle can be even 300 km/h depending on the length of the applied data transmitted.
