Results of comparative investigation of the drawing of products of high resistance to vehicle collision impacts made of sheets with improved strength and of sheets grade 08X and 08J, used in the automotive industry were presented. The investigation concerned solid disks welded along the axis and along a chord. The process consisting of forward and backward extrusion as well as redrawing with wall thickness reduction of a sleeve of the hard to deform aluminium alloy (PA9) for the armaments industry was also investigated. Technological parameters of the process were determined.
