This paper describes the advantage for the lower density foam application of newly designed two polyols, 'VISELAFLOW' and 'EXCELFLOW'. Reduction of the foam density gives poor durability (Wet compression set) of the foam and lower hardness foam (25 %-ILD). Durability (Wet compression set) of the foam can be controlled by the hydrophobicity of resin and the air flow of the foam. By using the 'VISELAFLOW', can produce the good durability foam. Conventional idea is that only the polyol system with high viscosity can produce more hardness foam. However, these system gives high viscosity and does not meet the capacity of usual production facility. 'EXCELFLOW' is the raw materials which can be consistent with higher hardness and lower viscosity. By combining 'VISELAFLOW' and 'EXCELFLOW', we can produce good durability and desired hardness foams at super lower density.
