The vehicle technology of the F400 Carving with its Active Camber Control and synthesis tires designed to complement this technology, opens up new, previously unexpected of lateral dynamics and friction locking potentials. These can be used, for example, to create new lateral force potentials, to significantly increase agility or to build up safety reserves to negotiate dangerous situations. In addition, the F400 offers the ideal platform for holistic vehicle dynamics design for current and future mechatronic chassis systems. Nevertheless, demands are being made on both developers and legislators for the recognizable potentials of mechatronic chassis concepts to be utilized safely, reliably and also cost-effectively in future vehicle generations.
