This paper mentions advantages of the reverse cycle especially in terms of corrosion resistance, mechanical resistance of the coat, improvement of electrodip paint penetration inside box sections, energy saving and pollution control. The description of the cycle pre-treatment tunnel, dry-off oven, powder coating spray-booth, curing ove, electrodip and curing oven shows up the high degree of automatization for coating outside and also inside of the body. Powder oven has been carefully designed in order to prevent the blow-off at the entering side. In conclusion, a review of the reverse cycle performances on production line confirms the benefits expected in laboratory.
