Railgun launching of hypervelocity projectiles requires solutions including the driving circuit elements of the launch system coupled together with the conducting rails and projectile armature. In particular, the magnitudes of te system energetics and electrical parameters as well as the projectile internal ballistic motion can be obtained with such a solution for either the homopolar generator-inductor driver or the compensated pulse alternator driver. Simplified constant current parametric solutions for the HPG-driven system, and numerical temporally dependant HPG and compensator solutions are illustrated.
