To provide a ballistic projectile tracking method with small measurement errors.SOLUTION: A monitoring satellite 100-0 detects launch detection information, to be an origin point of a flight route model, when a projectile is launched. A monitoring satellite 100-1 detects a ballistic projectile 521 with a temperature thereof increased after the completion of injection against a background of space. A ground system 340 selects a subsequent monitoring satellite capable of monitoring by referring to a plurality of flight route models, with the launch detection information of the ballistic projectile 521 as the origin point, in a model database 350. Then, the monitoring satellite 100-0 transfers information to the subsequent monitoring satellite 100-1. The subsequent monitoring satellite 100-1 which has an eye vector in a north-south direction measures the ballistic projectile after the completion of injection and the subsequent monitoring satellite 00-1 which has an eye vector in an east-west direction measures the ballistic projectile 521 after the completion of the injection. The ground system 340 acquires measurement information and corrects the flight route model by evaluating a deviation between the flight route model and an actual trajectory.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】計測誤差の少ない弾道飛翔体の追跡方法を提供する。【解決手段】監視衛星100-0が、飛翔経路モデルの起点となるべき、飛翔体発射時の発射探知情報を探知する。監視衛星100-1が、噴射終了後の温度上昇した弾道飛翔体521を宇宙背景で検知する。地上システム340は、弾道飛翔体521の発射探知情報を起点として、モデルデータベース350の複数の飛翔経路モデルを参照することにより、監視可能な後続監視衛星を選択し、監視衛星100-0から後続監視衛星100-1へ情報伝送する。南北方向に視線ベクトルを有する後続監視衛星100-1が、噴射終了後の前記弾道飛翔体を計測し、東西方向に視線ベクトルを有する後続監視衛星00-1が、噴射終了後の弾道飛翔体521を計測する。地上システム340が、計測情報を取得し、飛翔経路モデルと実軌道の乖離を評価して飛翔経路モデルを補正する。【選択図】図1
