An advanced high voltage process makes possible the integration of a power actuator for inductive loads that can work with a minimal drop-out voltage and can withstand positive and negative overvoltages up to 120 volts. An improved power structure, an isolated collector vertical PNP transistor (ICVPNP (Ic 500 mA, hFEsat=25)), allows this large range of operation required by automotive and industrial applications. This structure and the electrical configuration are optimized to reduce the power dissipation.
