A method is proposed for calculating the higher harmonics of the no-load current with supply by a frequency converter, allowance being made for current displacement and tooth-section saturation. It is shown that the discrepancy between calculated and experimental data does not exceed 3 % over the entire working range of frequencies and voltages.
